A 17-year-old has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a woman at a Houston apartment complex, police said.

Officers responding to 240 El Dorado Boulevard on July 21 found a 59-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. She was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

HPD identified Noah Dodson as a suspect and said he was later located and arrested. The victim’s identity was pending family notification in the department’s July 23 release.
