Houston police describe the pictured man as a person of interest wanted for questioning. HPD explicitly says he is not charged.

Houston homicide detectives are asking the public to identify a man sought for questioning after a fatal shooting at a Fondren Road bus stop.

Officers responding to 13200 Fondren Road at about 5:40 p.m. July 25 found 51-year-old Amond Morrison with a gunshot wound, according to the Houston Police Department. Paramedics took Morrison to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives said Morrison and another man had been involved in a verbal altercation that led to the shooting. The shooter fled on foot. HPD released two surveillance images of an unknown man described as a person of interest. The department expressly said the pictured man is not charged.
