Houston police announced new charges and an arrest in the 2023 killing of 41-year-old Adrean Arrington.

Firefighters found Arrington in the trunk of a burned vehicle on Nelson Street on December 9, 2023. HPD alleges he was fatally shot at a motel before his body was placed in the vehicle and the vehicle was burned.

Morris Taylor Jr. faces murder, aggravated-kidnapping, arson and evidence-tampering charges. Steven Ryan Henry faces arson and evidence-tampering charges. The allegations have not been proven, and both defendants retain the presumption of innocence.
