Baltimore homicide detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old woman in the Southwest District.

Officers responded to the 3200 block of West Baltimore Street at about 8 p.m. July 25 and found the woman suffering from a stab wound, according to a Baltimore Police Department weekend advisory. She was transported to Shock Trauma, where she was pronounced dead.

Police did not release the victim’s name or announce an arrest in the July 27 advisory. Homicide detectives have taken control of the active investigation.
