D.C. homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old inside a Northwest Washington residence.
Fourth District officers responded to the 3500 block of 10th Street NW at about 10:14 p.m. Sunday and found Tavon Livingston suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. D.C. Fire and EMS took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead after life-saving efforts failed.
MPD identified Livingston as a Northeast Washington resident. The department did not announce an arrest or identify a suspect in its July 27 release. The investigation remains active.
