A Brooklyn grand jury indictment charges 22 alleged members of two Folk Nation subsets in a wide-ranging shooting conspiracy, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney.

Prosecutors say the 176-count case covers 26 shootings from October 2022 forward, including one homicide and 12 non-fatal shootings. Three alleged victims were described as innocent bystanders.

The defendants face varying charges that include murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and weapons possession. An indictment is not proof of guilt.
