The indictment contains allegations, not findings of guilt. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

Federal prosecutors have unsealed a 15-count indictment charging 11 alleged members and associates of the BB7 set of the Trinitarios street gang with racketeering conspiracy and a series of violent crimes across the New York metropolitan area.

The indictment alleges five murders: Frankelis Tavarez in the Bronx in March 2024; Gabriel Alvarez and Adam Waldropt in the Bronx in July 2025; Alvis Perez Liriano near Newark in August 2025; and Ariela Mejia-Polanco during an alleged attempted carjacking in Westchester County later that month. It also alleges assaults, a retaliatory shooting and armed robberies.

Prosecutors separately charged Jarol Ledesma with robbery and interstate stalking offenses tied to the alleged gunpoint robbery of an international recording artist in June 2025. None of the charges establishes guilt, and every defendant retains the presumption of innocence.
