D.C. police announced two arrests after an armed robbery in Southeast Washington on July 10.
MPD alleges the suspects displayed firearms, demanded money and took cash from one victim before responding officers apprehended them.
Jonathan Johnson, 22, and Laron Plowden, 24, were charged with armed robbery. The allegations have not been proven in court.
