Metropolitan Police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 56-year-old man on 14th Street in Northwest Washington.
Third District officers responding to a reported stabbing shortly before 1 a.m. on July 11 found an adult man suffering from a puncture wound. DC Fire and EMS found no signs consistent with life and pronounced him dead at the scene, according to MPD.
Police identified the victim as Charles Sharp of Northwest D.C. The July 15 release did not announce an arrest or identify a suspect, and the investigation remains open.
