A 23-year-old has been arrested after an armed robbery on Minnesota Avenue in Northeast Washington, according to MPD.

Police say a person approached the victim in the 4000 block shortly after noon June 30, displayed a handgun and took the victim’s sunglasses before fleeing.

Responding officers apprehended Jemise Dezzou, of Bowie, Maryland, and filed an armed-robbery charge.
