Abdoulie Jawneh and Daniel Foxworth have been charged with first-degree murder while armed. The charges are allegations, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

Two people have been arrested on first-degree murder charges in the killing of Aaron Brown in Northeast Washington, MPD announced.

Officers found Brown with a gunshot wound in an alley off the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue on July 11. He died after being taken to a hospital.

The Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Abdoulie Jawneh on July 23 and Daniel Foxworth the following day. Both were transported to MPD’s Homicide Branch and charged under D.C. Superior Court warrants.
